I'm Richard Dezso. I'm a security analyst, and my day job is in security governance, risk and compliance. I hold the CompTIA Security+ certification, and I've written about cybersecurity since 2022. That adds up to more than 300 published articles, including content I've ghostwritten for security vendors through agency partners. In my day job, I also write the security policies for the organization I work for.
Why does that matter to you? Security buyers notice when a writer doesn't understand the subject. Your engineers notice faster. I write from the inside of the field, so the terms are right, the examples hold up and the piece respects the reader's time.
My goal for every piece is simple: accurate enough for your engineers, clear enough for your buyers. You won't need to explain CVSS, ASPM, or SIEM triage. I already write about them.
I write for two kinds of clients: security vendors who need content their buyers will trust, and security leaders who have plenty to say and no time to write it. Here's what that covers.
SEO-aware, technically accurate articles that educate your readers and hold up to expert review.
Step-by-step guides that show how security tools and techniques work in practice. For an example, see my Metasploit Tutorial for StationX
Pages that explain two approaches, frameworks or tools side by side and help a reader decide. For an example, see Cyber Kill Chain vs. MITRE ATT&CK on StationX
Long-form assets for lead generation and customer education, scoped and scheduled per project.
Bylined articles in your voice, built from your ideas and experience, for your company blog, LinkedIn or trade publications. $1,500 USD per article. You approve every piece before it's published.
Your first security questionnaire done in 7 business days, even without SOC 2.
These are the areas my 300+ published articles already span.
I also write about identity and access in industrial settings, for example IAM for manufacturing across OT and IT

Ghostwritten work doesn't carry my name, so the cybersecurity writing samples page also includes three anonymised thought leadership excerpts, on compliance as operational discipline, connecting governance, risk and compliance, and making security useful to the business.
Your subject-matter experts are busy. I do the research and hand over a clear first draft, so their review can focus on the details that matter instead of fixing basics.
I work in security day to day. I use the right terms, I know which details your buyers will check, and I don't pad a piece with generic security marketing.
My work has been published by StationX, and I've written ghostwritten content for a managed detection and response (MDR) provider and an application security platform through an SEO agency. You can read my bylined work before you hire me.
Ghostwriting clients are never named in Polaris marketing. NDAs are welcome. Your work stays yours.
